Notifications (the bell in the workspace)
Updated Oct 5, 2026 Open the tool
The bell in the workspace's top bar (left of the avatar) lists what is new for the person: announcements from Zoovdev, and things that happened on their own account. It arrived on 2026-10-05.
What the bell shows
The bell holds two kinds of notification. Announcements are the same for everyone they are meant for: What's new, a new guide, an open competition (with a Terms link to its official rules), a sale on plans and credits, a new tool, or planned maintenance. Some announcements are written by the Zoovdev team; others appear by themselves: a competition opening, its last day to enter, its winner being drawn, the store's sale switching on, and a guide just published under /kb. An announcement can be aimed at one game (FiveM or Roblox), at some plans, or at signed-in people or visitors only, so two people can see different lists.
Personal notifications belong to one account: Pack invitation (someone shared a clothing pack), Team invitation, Referral reward (credits earned when someone signed up through your link, with the date they expire), Credits refunded (a generation that failed or was refused and was refunded: Images, Tattoos, textures in the Designer, 3D models; the line names the tool, like "8 credits back · Images"), You won (a competition prize), Payment failed (a plan payment the card declined), and credits that arrived: Plan credits renewed (each new billing period; Plan credits added for the first), Credits purchased (a credit pack), Loyalty bonus ("200 credits · 6 months subscribed"), Team credits, Prize credits, Welcome to Zoovdev ("50 credits to start" on a new account) and Credits added (anything else, such as credits added by staff). Pressing a credits notification opens the Credits dialog, and the balance in the top bar updates when one arrives. They also arrive in Discord or by email as before; the bell keeps them in one place even when a DM is blocked. Pressing a notification opens the page it is about.
New, read and the badge
The number on the bell counts what is new since the bell was last opened. Opening the bell clears the number. Rows that were new keep a small dot while the list is open. A personal notification keeps its dot until it is pressed, or until Mark all read. The bell lists the last 60 days of personal notifications and the announcements still in force (up to 45 days old, fewer if they end sooner). Being signed in matters: a signed-in person's "seen" state is kept on the account, so it is the same on every device. A visitor (not signed in) sees announcements only, and "seen" is kept in that browser.
When a notification arrives while the workspace is open, the bell rings once and the line at the top of the screen (the activity island) says it, with View to open the list. That only happens for the ones worth an interruption: personal notifications, competitions and maintenance. A new guide or What's new only adds to the number, and so does anything you just did on screen: a refund for something refused while you were watching, a plan or credit pack you just bought, a prize you just won, the welcome credits. A refund for a 3D model that failed after you may have left, a plan renewal and a loyalty bonus do ring the bell. The bell checks for news when the tab comes back after a minute away and every five minutes while it is open, so a new announcement can take a few minutes to appear.
Common questions
What is the bell in the top right? Your notifications: announcements from Zoovdev (new features, guides, competitions, sales) and things that happened on your account (pack and team invitations, referral rewards, refunds, prizes, a failed payment). Press it to see the list.
How do I clear the number on the bell? Open the bell. The number counts what is new since you last opened it. To also clear the dots on your own notifications, press Mark all read.
I got a pack invitation in Discord. Is it in the bell too? Yes, for an account that has signed in to Zoovdev before. Press it to open the pack. If the Discord DM did not arrive (DMs blocked), the bell still has it.
Why didn't I get a notification about the competition my friend saw?
Some announcements are aimed at one game, some plans, or signed-in people only. The bell also only keeps announcements for up to 45 days. The competition page is always at /app/comp.
Can I turn notifications off?
Not yet. Nothing in the bell sends email or Discord messages by itself, and there is no setting to hide announcements today. Marketing email is a separate switch on /app/profile.
A notification says my payment failed. What do I do? Open Billing from the profile menu (it opens Stripe) and update the card. The notification links to your profile page, where Billing is.
