Official competition rules
These Competition Terms (the 'Rules') apply to every promotional
competition, contest, or prize draw (each, a 'Competition') operated by
ZOOV.DEVELOPER PLATFORM, doing business as ZOOVDEV ('Sponsor',
'we', 'us', or 'our') on zoov.dev and our official
community channels. Each Competition also has its own competition page stating the prize,
the entry period, the submission prompt, and how the winner is selected (the
'Competition Details'). The Competition Details are part of these Rules;
if they conflict, the Competition Details control for that Competition.
By entering a Competition you agree to these Rules, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.
EACH COMPETITION IS EITHER A PRIZE DRAW OR A JUDGED CONTEST, AS STATED IN ITS
COMPETITION DETAILS. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN A PRIZE DRAW, AND A
PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING BEYOND THE ENTRIES STATED IN THE
COMPETITION DETAILS. A JUDGED CONTEST IS DECIDED ON MERIT AGAINST PUBLISHED CRITERIA;
CHANCE PLAYS NO PART, AND A JUDGED CONTEST MAY REQUIRE AN ACTIVE SUBSCRIPTION TO ENTER.
VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
1. SPONSOR
The Sponsor of each Competition is ZOOV.DEVELOPER PLATFORM, operating from Australia.
Questions about a Competition, requests for a copy of these Rules, and winner list
requests can be sent to admin@zoov.dev.
Competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with
Discord Inc., TikTok, Stripe, Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games, or the FiveM /
Cfx.re platform.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Competitions are open only to natural persons who, at the time of entry: (a) are at least
18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher); (b)
hold a zoov.dev account in good standing with a valid, reachable email address; and (c)
are legally permitted to enter under the laws of their place of residence.
The following are not eligible: employees, contractors, and staff of the Sponsor;
moderators or staff of our Discord community; immediate family or household members of
any of the above; and any person residing in a jurisdiction where the Competition, as
structured, would be unlawful or would require a registration, permit, or bond that the
Sponsor has not obtained. Unless the Competition Details say otherwise, Competitions are
not open to residents of Quebec (Canada), Italy, Brazil, or any country subject to
comprehensive sanctions. Judged contests that require an active subscription to enter
are additionally not open to residents of Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland,
Nebraska, North Dakota, or Vermont (United States). Each Competition's Details may list
additional excluded jurisdictions.
You are responsible for ensuring your participation is lawful where you live. If you
enter from a jurisdiction where participation is prohibited, your entry is void.
3. ENTRY PERIOD
Each Competition opens and closes at the times stated in its Competition Details. Entries
and submissions received outside the entry period are void. The Sponsor's servers are the
official timekeeper.
4. HOW TO ENTER
Entries through a subscription
During the entry period, active paid subscribers receive competition entries each billing
period at the rates stated in the Competition Details (for example: Standard 1 entry, Pro
2 entries, Max 3 entries per billing period). Entries are granted automatically when a
qualifying subscription payment is processed. For billing periods of sixty days or
longer that are already paid and not scheduled to cancel when the entry period begins,
the period's entries are granted when the Competition opens. Entries are added to your
account automatically; in a prize draw there is nothing further to write or submit. The
total number of entries any one person may hold in a Competition, from every route
combined, is capped: in a prize draw at four times the highest per-period rate stated
in the Competition Details (for example 200 where Max earns 50 per period), in a judged
contest at ten. Payments beyond the cap add no entries.
Entries through a credit package
A credit package bought on zoov.dev while the entry period is open adds entries at the
rate shown on the competition page (currently 1,000 credits adds ten entries, 3,000
credits twenty-five, 8,000 credits fifty; smaller packages add none), subject to the same
per-person cap. In a judged contest each entry is one further written submission judged
on its own merit; entries never affect how any submission is scored. Credit packages are
non-refundable and remain yours to use regardless of the outcome.
Judged contests
Where the Competition Details state that winners are judged, the Competition is a
contest of skill. An active paid personal subscription that is not scheduled to cancel
is required to enter unless the Competition Details say otherwise, both at the time a
submission is made and at the time winners are selected; team seats do not qualify. No
free method of entry is offered. In a judged
contest each entry a participant holds is one submission slot: a participant may submit
as many separate written responses as they hold entries, and each submission is judged on
its own merits. Holding more entries does not improve the score of any submission and does
not otherwise increase a participant's chance of winning. No person may win more than one
prize in the same judged contest.
Free entry — no purchase necessary (prize draws)
For any Competition whose winners are selected by random draw, anyone eligible may enter
for free during the entry period, no purchase necessary. To claim a free entry, log into
your zoov.dev account, open the list of active prize draws at zoov.dev/competition/free-entry, choose
the Competition, and complete its free entry form with your full legal name, country and
region of residence, and date of birth, then confirm your eligibility. These are the
same details every winner, however they entered, must provide before a prize is paid.
Each free claim carries the same number of entries a subscriber earns in a single billing
period on the highest tier, and free entries are treated identically to paid entries in
the draw. Limit one free claim per person every seven days, and the same per-person cap
applies to free entries as to every other route, so a free entrant can hold as many
entries as any paying entrant over the run. "Per person" means the natural person: the
same legal name and date of birth may claim from one account only, and free claims made
from additional accounts are void. Free entries are recorded as such and a winner who
entered free is verified against the details declared on the form.
Submission
In a prize draw, holding entries is the entry: nothing is written or submitted, and every
entry you hold when the entry period ends is in the draw. In a judged contest, to complete
your entry you must submit a written response to the Competition prompt on the
competition page, within the stated word limit, one submission per entry held. You may
edit or remove a submission until the entry period ends. Entries generated by bots or
scripts, entries using multiple or fraudulent accounts, and plagiarized or infringing
submissions are void.
Your submission must be your own work, must not contain unlawful, hateful, or sexually
explicit content, and must not infringe any third party's rights. The writing help offered
on the competition page may be used to polish or draft from your own notes; the idea,
claims and examples must be yours. Use of that help is limited per person and may be
withdrawn at any time.
5. WINNER SELECTION
Skill contests (judged)
Where the Competition Details state the winner is judged, every submission is scored out
of 100 by the Sponsor's judging panel against the criteria and weights published on the
competition page before the entry period opens (for example: usefulness 40%, relevance
30%, creativity 20%, clarity 10%). Prizes are awarded in score order, the highest score
taking the top prize tier, with ties broken by the panel's assessment of usefulness.
The number of entries a participant holds does not affect any score. Judging decisions
are final and at the Sponsor's reasonable discretion.
Prize draws (random)
Where the Competition Details state the winner is drawn, a winner is selected by random
draw from all entries held at the close of the entry period on or about the draw date,
with each entry counting as one chance. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. The draw is
conducted programmatically under staff supervision.
6. PRIZE
The prize and its stated value are listed in the Competition Details. Unless stated
otherwise, cash prizes are paid in USD by a payment method the Sponsor reasonably
selects (for example PayPal or bank transfer); the winner may need to hold or open an
account with the payment provider. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution is
allowed, except that the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the
advertised prize becomes unavailable. A Competition may award several prize tiers; the
number of winners, the prize for each tier, and the order in which tiers are filled are
stated in the Competition Details. Where prize tiers are filled by random draw, the top
tier is drawn first and no person may win more than one prize in the same Competition.
Prizes paid in zoov.dev credits are added to the winner's account directly and are
subject to the credit terms of the site; credit prizes have no cash value and are not
exchangeable for cash. Where a prize is a physical product, the Sponsor ships it to
winners with an Australian delivery address and may, at its discretion, pay the
winner's choice of the product or its stated retail value in cash to winners elsewhere.
Product names and brands are used to identify the prize only; the manufacturer and
retailer are not sponsors of, and are not affiliated with, any Competition. All taxes, fees, and charges on a prize
are the sole responsibility of the winner, and the Sponsor may withhold or report where
required by law.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND CLAIM
The winner is notified by email at the address on their zoov.dev account. The winner
must respond from that email address within 14 days of the notification
being sent. If the winner does not respond by the deadline, cannot be verified, is found
ineligible, or declines the prize, the prize is forfeited and the Sponsor may select an
alternate winner by the same method or cancel the award.
Before paying out, the Sponsor may require reasonable verification of identity, age,
eligibility, and account ownership, and may require the winner to sign a declaration of
eligibility and, where lawful, a liability and publicity release.
8. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT AND PUBLICITY
After a winner is confirmed, the Sponsor lists them on the competition page and in our
community channels by an anonymous entrant code only (a short code derived from the
account that cannot be traced back to it). A winner may choose instead to be shown by
first name and last initial, or by their community display name, and can withdraw that
choice at any time by emailing us. The Sponsor never publishes a winner's email address,
full name, or identity without their agreement. Where local law grants residents the right to request a winners list, requests
can be sent to admin@zoov.dev within 60
days of the draw or judging date.
9. YOUR SUBMISSION
You retain ownership of your submission. By entering, you grant the Sponsor a
non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce and display your submission
for the purposes of running, judging, and promoting the Competition, credited to your
community display name. This license ends two years after the Competition closes except
for archived announcements.
10. PRIVACY
Entry data (your account identity, entry counts, submission text, and — if you win —
the information needed to verify you and pay the prize) is processed to administer the
Competition, as described in our Privacy Policy. Entry data is retained
only as long as needed to run the Competition and meet legal record-keeping duties.
11. GENERAL CONDITIONS
The Sponsor may disqualify any participant who violates these Rules, tampers with the
entry process, or behaves abusively, and may cancel, suspend, or modify a Competition if
fraud, a technical failure, or any cause beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control impairs
its integrity — in which case the Sponsor may select the winner from eligible entries
received before the impairment. Purchasing a subscription is governed by the Terms of Service; competition entries
are a promotional bonus and carry no monetary value, are not refundable, and cannot be
exchanged.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SPONSOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR LOST, LATE,
MISDIRECTED, OR INCOMPLETE ENTRIES, OR FOR ANY TECHNICAL FAILURE OF THE ENTRY SYSTEM,
AND THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF THE SPONSOR ARISING FROM A COMPETITION IS LIMITED TO THE
VALUE OF THE ADVERTISED PRIZE. NOTHING IN THESE RULES EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE
EXCLUDED BY LAW.
12. DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW
These Rules are governed by the same governing law and dispute resolution provisions as
our Terms of Service. If any
provision of these Rules is held invalid, the remainder stays in effect.
