Offers in the workspace
Updated Oct 16, 2026 Open the tool
Offers are small purchases the workspace puts to a free account at two moments: right after the plans dialog was closed without buying, and on a return visit with fewer credits than one run costs. An offer is one dialog with one thing in it, a price, and a clock. Which offer a person sees, or whether they see one at all, is decided on the server from what has paid before in their situation. Offers exist since 2026-10-16.
The four offers
Four offers exist. Each one is a real Stripe product or code, bought through the normal payment step, and credits or plans from them work exactly like any other purchase.
- First pack: 60 credits for $1.99. Only for an account that has never paid anything on zoov.dev. One time. The credits never expire. It is the smallest pack the site sells, at a lower price per credit than the $5.99 Starter pack, and it is meant as a first purchase, not a repeat one.
- Top-up: 80 credits for $2.99. A quick top-up for anyone short of a run. The credits never expire. It is only put to someone holding fewer than 150 credits.
- Standard day pass: everything in Standard for 24 hours, $2.99. No subscription. For 24 hours the account holds the Standard plan: unlimited conversions and optimizations, the Designer without the 20-minute day, AI runs at Standard's credit prices, full-size exports, four reference pictures a run, the plugin. It brings no credits of its own. It is only offered after a day limit was met (a second UV map, a second vehicle, the Designer's minutes, a conversion quota). Two passes bought in a row are 48 hours: the second starts when the first ends.
- Standard, first month half price: $7.50, then $15 a month. The monthly Standard plan with the promotion code
HALFMONTHattached (50% off once, Standard only). Only for an account that has never paid: Stripe refuses the code to anyone with an earlier payment. Everything else about the plan is as usual: 750 credits a month, cancel any time from Billing.
The prices and amounts live in src/lib/config/offers.ts.
When an offer appears
An offer can only follow two moments, and never stands in front of the plans dialog.
- After the plans dialog was closed without a checkout. When someone opens the plans (from a credit wall, the credit pill, a day limit, Upgrade in the top bar) and closes it without pressing a plan or a pack, an offer may open a moment later. Pressing a plan or a pack, paid or not, counts as a checkout: no offer follows.
- On a return visit with fewer than 32 credits. A signed-in free account arriving in the workspace with fewer than 32 credits (one Free livery run) may get an offer about eight seconds in, at most once every three days.
There are hard limits on top: at most one offer a day and three a week per account, never to anyone on Standard, Pro, Max or a running day pass, never an offer the person has waved away twice in the last fortnight (it rests for a month), the first-purchase offers never to anyone who has paid, and the day pass only after a day-limit door. "No thanks", the cross and Escape all count as waving it away. Nothing is shown at all for many people: "show nothing" is one of the choices the server can make, and it is measured like the rest.
The clock on the offer
Every offer carries "Ends in 14:32". The price stands for 15 minutes from the moment it was drawn, and the checkout refuses it after 15 minutes of grace beyond that, so the countdown is a fact: a person who comes back to the tab an hour later finds "Offer ended" and a Close button. The same offer may be drawn again another day if the rules allow; there is no way to ask for a specific one.
Paying for an offer
Pressing the offer's button turns the dialog into the payment step, the same card form the Credits dialog and the plans dialog use (Stripe's form inside the dialog, Apple Pay and Google Pay when the device has them). If the form cannot load, Stripe's own page opens instead and comes back to the workspace. A pack's credits arrive the way any pack's do (the webhook, a few seconds). A day pass is on the moment the payment is confirmed: the top bar shows Standard after the page reads the account again, and a toast says until when. The first-month plan ends with the same "Standard plan active" dialog a plan from the plans dialog ends with.
Refunds and cancellations follow the general billing rules: a pack is a one-time purchase, a pass is used up as its hours pass, and the half-price month is a normal monthly subscription that renews at $15 unless cancelled from Billing.
Common questions
Why did I get an offer and my friend did not? Offers are chosen per situation from what has paid before in that situation, and "nothing" is one of the choices. Two people at the same wall can see different things, or nothing. There is no way to request one.
Can I buy the $1.99 pack again? No. The first pack is for an account that has never paid anything here, once. After it, the packs in the plans dialog start at $5.99 for 150 credits, and a top-up offer may appear when you are short of a run.
The offer says "Offer ended". Can I still have it? Not that one: the price stood for 15 minutes. Open the plans dialog for the regular packs and plans. An offer may be drawn again on another day if the rules allow.
Does the day pass give me credits? No. It gives the Standard plan's tools and limits for 24 hours: unlimited conversions and optimizations, the Designer without its daily minutes, Standard's lower credit prices on AI runs, full-size exports. Credits are bought separately or come with a plan.
I bought a day pass but the workspace still says Free. The pass lands with Stripe's confirmation, usually within seconds, and the page reads the account again on its own. Reload the page if it still says Free after a minute. If it stays Free, support can check the pass against the payment.
Does the day pass give me the Discord Standard role? No. The pass is the plan inside the workspace only. Discord roles come with subscriptions.
I was offered Standard at half price and Stripe refused the code. The half-price month is for an account that has never paid on zoov.dev. If a payment exists on the account, Stripe declines the code and the dialog says the offer is no longer available. The plans dialog sells Standard at its normal price.
Can I turn offers off? Waving an offer away twice in a fortnight rests it for a month, and no account sees more than one a day or three a week. There is no switch per account.
